A silk flare or pleats are inserted into the backs, which release movement against a rigid silhouette. Once the model stops, the once floating fabrics are absorbed into the long-slim silhouette.
Throughout the creation process, Yohji Yamamoto always seeks for the capacity that each pieces can produce and the significance of “wearable
clothing’’.
