Sculptural and bold. Sexy. ck Calvin Klein presents the women’s line for Fall 2009.
Sleek and mysterious. Linear tailoring forms an austere sensuality. Curves are sculpted away from the body in a modern take on couture. Outerwear and jackets have sharp faceted shoulders with nipped in waists. Lapels are elongated with inverted notch details, or completely absent. Multi-darts, shaped pleats, and seams give three dimensional, architectural formations to the collection. Skirts are voluminous and vary in lengths from super cropped to mid-calf. The high waist is constant. Pants are linear and sexy or pleated and tuxedo inspired. Dresses and tops incorporate folds, with facets and strict pleats to add texture and form. Sweaters are tightly knit, plaited, and fashioned in rib constructions for precision and arrangement.
